The Ecover Cleaning Range

It's a serious fact to note that the chemicals we use around the place, and then subsequently wash down the drain can have nasty consequences to the environment and also to our own health. Especially when camping we feel it’s important to make sure that what you wash-up with doesn’t go on to poison the place your pour it!

Ecover have a massive range, their products are ethically and sustainably made, kind to sensitive skin while you use them and biodegradable when you’re done – what more do you want?

I’ve used Ecover products for years (even back when we had a real house!) and have always been satisfied with their effectiveness. We currently use their washing up liquid, all purpose cleaner, washing powder, fabric conditioner and laundry bleach - and it definitely all works!

Currently it's sold in a wide range of supermarkets including Tesco & Waitrose and I've even seen it in Homebase, though it does tend to get grouped separate from the other brands. So next time you're shopping for cleaning supplies remember to cast your eyes around the aisle a little further and give it a try!

Ecover products are also available along with other fair trade and organic household products from the Ethical Superstore.

We live neither on or off-grid, rather somewhere in between, and are not the first and I dare say not the last to choose this way of life... read more>>
