Gracious Greyhound

We had a lovely afternoon today at Ampthill Park with our friend Becca and her rescue greyhound Sora. Sora has had a tough life as a racing dog but has found herself the best retirement home ever with Becca and her partner full of love and affection. 

She's such a calm and gentle thing and made herself quite at home, happily spread out in the living room while we enjoyed a spot of tea and cake. :)

It was nice to see a dog in here as we do intend on adopting a dog some day, and at least now we know a large dog will fit! Of course rescue dogs often come with some issues of their own but they're normally resolved once they settle into your family.
